Stephen Beus, exciting young American pianist, will give one of his two début UK solo recitals at Beechwood Park School in the Great Hall on Saturday February 20th at 7pm. Born in 1982, Stephen showed unusual talent at an early age and had his first piano lessons at the age of 5 and made his orchestral début just 4 years later.  He graduated from the Juillard School of Music and has since won several prestigious, International Piano Competitions.  Music critics have described his piano-playing as 'mesmerising .... explosive .... intelligent'. 

Although Stephen has given virtuoso performances in concert halls around the world, this will be only his second recital in the UK, and it is a great privilege for Beechwood Park School to be the chosen venue.  His programme here will include music by Bach, Liszt, Mendelssohn and Scriabin.
